Ricky Allen Nachurski, Sr., 63, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Penn Medicine, Philadelphia.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Frank E. Nachurski and Brenda F. Benham (nee Reichart).

After high school, Ricky made a commitment to protect and serve his country by joining the US Army. After being honorably discharged, he started a career as a laborer at Carpenter Technology until his retirement.

He was involved in his community as a member of the Goodwill Beneficial Society, the North End Rod and Gun Club, and The Dips. Ricky was also a member of the Freemasonry fraternity.

Ricky was an avid Philadelphia Eagle fan and loved watching Nascar races. He thoroughly enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD with his family.

In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by his children, Ricky Nachurski, Jr. and Nicholas Nachurski, significant other of Megan Sides, all of Spring Township. He also leaves behind his siblings: Kimberly A., wife of Ronald Wunsch, of Leesport, Darren M. Nachurski, husband of Tracy, of Escondido, CA, Kelly J., wife of Donald Geddio, of Muhlenberg, and Krystal R., wife of Kevin Strauss, of Bethel. He is also survived by three grandchildren, six nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
